INGREDIENTS:
- one american cup of any short-grained rice
- one bag of steamable frozen peas
- lime juice (key lime preferred, but any is fine)
- salt
- canned tuna
Rinse short-grained rice, and then add to rice cooker. Microwave or otherwise cook the tender peas until almost ready. Once the rice is almost cooked, add the peas. Add drained canned tuna in the desired amount. Stir to incorporate and allow to cook just a bit longer. A tiny splash of water may be needed to encourage the rice to mush together a little. Watch for desired rice texture, then add lime juice and salt to taste and serve.
